Needed to see what it felt like to run 5k at race pace or at least what I believe can be my race pace. Weather was cool and the road wasn't ideal as there was still ice and water. I also take comfort in the fact that this course is not flat as there is a uphill and downhill near the parking lot area where I start. I was wearing my lightest winter wear and my Brooks Cadence which will be my racing shoes at the 1/2 mary distance and lower. Its good to see this progress and I'm getting better at br
